WELCOME
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on AES TV - the results of this survey
will be used to shape the channel lineup and packaging of your new choice for TV in the Auburn
Community - powered by a locally owned and operated 100% Fiber Optic network.

UNDERSTANDING THIS SURVEY FORMAT
This survey is divided into 3 overall sections:
Section 1 - BACKGROUND
We will ask some basic questions about your current TV experience and viewing habits.
Section 2 - CHANNEL CATEGORY & RATING
This is the heart of the survey. Categorized by content type, we will list all channels being
considered and ask you to rate how often you currently and/or would watch each channel. Each page
contains one of the following specific categories of channels: Basic, Kids, Education, Sports, News,
Arts & Entertainment, Music Video, Religious, Movie, Training, Premium, Music, and High Definition.
Please rate each channel as to how often you watch it (Always, Occasionally, Seldom, and Never).
NOTE: If you leave the channel unanswered, we will assume the channel is not important to you and you
never watch it.
Section 3 - Further Participation
Focus Groups. We will be holding in-person focus groups to discuss the survey findings, the proposed
channel lineup and packages, and selected technologies. Sign up for a chance to participate in these
important sessions. Space will be limited.
TV Early Adopter Testing. Later this spring, a small subset of AES customers will begin testing the
new TV service, helping us refine all aspects of the service (sales, installation, delivery, support,
billing) before general availability the later half of 2010. Sign up if you wish to be part of this
important testing activity.
